Lasantha's remains exhumed (UPDATE)

UPDATE : (11.32) The body of former Sunday Leader editor - Lasantha Wickremetunga was exhumed today (27) at the Borella cemetary.

The grave was dug till 4 feet, say sources.

Speaking to media soonafter, the lawyer of Mr. Wickremetunga's family said that the remains are in good condition and that Mr. Wickremetunga's family has urged media for privacy.

Earlier, the exhumation was briefly halted after a drone was flown over the gravesite. According to sources, police are searching for the controllers of the drone.
